Hike through Downtown Kansas City During the Sunset

We start this adventure with a beautiful view of the city from Liberty Memorial and we talk about what we’ll cover. After weaving through the Crossroads Art District and seeing intricately painted murals, we’ll move into the architecturally and culturally diverse neighborhood of the Westside. We cross a "hidden bridge" and get a view of the West Bottoms and the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers. While on this bridge we savor a stunning view of the sunset facing west. We go up some hills and walk below underpasses, experience nature and rich historical buildings of downtown. You’ll get a work out and see a new side of Kansas City. The hike ends with a satisfying ride back to our starting point on the Kansas City street car. It’s a must to wear comfortable shoes and bring your water bottle.

"Learning the history of commonly seen buildings was so interesting! I really loved learning how and why things were built. The art and graffiti were nice touches and I think help appeal to different types of crowds"
